coast of England. You can get valuable information on marinas and places to visit from

Contains information on UK sailing fraternity. Lists names of yacht clubs and other useful
information.
- Warsash Nautical Bookshop
Probably the most well known nautical bookshop in the world. If a book has been published
relating to the sea, navigation or boats of any description, this is where you will find
it. Highly recommended.
- Flagmakers
Great site for e-commerce! Why not find the flag you need and purchase it on-line. One of
the best flag producers. This is the place to get a Gin Pennant.
- Practical Boat Owner
Just as it says this magazine caters for the practical yachtsman. It has lots of useful ideas
and suppliers information. Very popular with yacht owners who may have just bought their
first boat. Includes good equipment test articles.
- Yachting Monthly
Published by the same company as Practical Boat Owner this magazine includes stories of
readers experiences and runs articles on boat test sails. It also can describe journeys to
ports within cruising distance around the UK including some good local knowledge and both
maps and chartlets of the places in question.
- Motor Boat & Yachting
This magazine focuses more on the motor boat fraternity. It contains useful information
and tips.

information on historic ships - both merchant and military. Great site on a rainy day in
the winter.
- Westerly Owners Association
If you own a Westerly then you will almost certainly want to get the benefits of belonging
to this group. The association have a good relationship with Westerly and provide some
very useful information on the range of yachts which have been manufactured by this
company. Good discounts are available to members.
- RNSA
The Royal Naval Sailing Association is for serving and retired members of the Royal Navy.
It has a world wide and extensive membership who keep in touch via a regular newsletter.
Visiting foreign ports can be made so much easier when you can put your finger on the name
of someone with local knowledge.
- Boatsafe (USA) Informative web site
for sailing folk in the USA. Well worth a peruse. Interesting 'Learn to
Sail' scheme on-line.
