The Roches Jago Chateau. Great gardens accessed from the river Trieux. It has a restaurant which provides good food and the chateau has an excellent exhibition of Brittany Lighthouses - Very informative, if only it was also in English. I couldn't resist taking this picture through a small window in the roof of the Chateau. The view is of the river Trieux looking toward Lezardrieux. We came by dinghy up the river, a journey of about an hour and a half. The Chateau has plenty of interesting things to hold the audience whatever their interests and the views are astonishingly good. This view of the 2002 Round The Island Race was taken from the top of Tennyson Down on the Isle of Wight. It really does not do justice to the vista with 1600 yachts or so in the great panoramic view. The Needles Light House! And yet more yachts come round the Needles. A terrific sight!
